Agents come out in full force to support all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels

TORONTO — The all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels in Mexico and the D.R. have legions of loyal travel agent partners, and they were out in full force at a downtown Toronto get-together to celebrate both the resort company and the industry they love.

The festive mood at Barrio Cerveciera was ‘omicron be damned’ as agents gathered to hear all the latest updates from the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels, and to catch up with industry friends and colleagues after many, many months.

It was one of AIC Hotel Group’s very first large-scale travel agent events in Canada as the industry gears up for Canadian travel to resume in earnest. Response to the event was so high, the festivities were spread out over two nights.

The omicron variant was certainly a topic of discussion, but most agents reported few and in some cases no cancellations so far.

Meanwhile all of the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotels “are open and thriving” says AIC Hotel Group BDM Jasmine Grant, who hosted the dinner at Barrio Cerveciera.

In fact all five of the resorts – in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Punta Cana – reopened back on July 1, 2020.

Says Grant: “I personally have had the chance to visit almost all of our Hard Rock properties within the last few months. The teams on property are doing a phenomenal job keeping guests safe, without loosing the finesse, entertainment and service that makes the Hard Rock All Inclusive hotels so special.”

Grant adds that her most recent trip was a FAM to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in early November 2021. “Some updates for this property include room renovations adding a more modern, contemporary feel to them, elevating the food and beverage program and a water park that is being built and is expected to be open and be ready for clients later in 2022.”

Grant is reminding all agents about AIC Hotel Group’s agent incentive program, and encourages agents to join the company’s agent Facebook group, AMPED Agents Canada.

“We appreciate the agents coming out and supporting us,” she said. “It is so nice to finally be able to meet people in person rather than over a screen. We sympathize with agents on how the last two years have gone, but we are excited and ready to conquer 2022 with them!”
