Star Clippers resumes full sailing program

MIAMI — Star Clippers full sailing program is back on stream for the first time in two years, with all three of its ships now sailing in the Mediterranean.

Star Clipper, the final ship in the fleet to resume sailing, joined Star Flyer and Royal Clipper in the Med last month, marking the first time in five years that all three ships have sailed together. Royal Clipper and Star Clipper will spend the season sailing various 3- to 15-night itineraries in the Western Med, with ports of call in France, Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Spain and Portugal. Star Flyer will spend the summer in the Eastern Med sailing popular 6- to 18-night itineraries through Greece and Turkey.

“Having all three tall ships back in the Mediterranean for the summer is thrilling and truly a testament to the determination and hard work of our officers, crew and land-based offices,” said Terri Haas, Vice President of Sales, Star Clippers North America. “Royal Clipper and Star Flyer were able to successfully complete their Caribbean seasons this past winter, while Star Clipper underwent an extensive drydock prior to resuming  service in April.”

To entice guests to book, Star Clippers has launched its Pick Your Perk promotion, which is valid on select 2022 and 2023 Mediterranean departures for residents of North, Central and South America only. Perks include: a complimentary one-category cabin upgrade on Royal Clipper or a two-category upgrade on Star Clipper and Star Flyer; or a complimentary onboard credit of US$400 on Royal Clipper and $800 on Star Clipper and Star Flyer (based on double occupancy).
