TORONTO — Manulife is giving travel advisors more digital tools and travel insurance options through an enhanced Travel Insurance Portal designed to simplify the process of quoting, selling and managing policies.

The expanded platform offers a fully digital, paperless experience with improved quoting and reporting tools, expanded policy management capabilities and the ability to make policy changes directly within the portal.

The rollout builds on the platform’s launch with travel agencies and marks the next phase of Manulife’s travel insurance modernization efforts, extending the enhanced experience to the advisor channel.

The updated offering also introduces a refreshed suite of travel insurance products, including a new Non-Medical Inclusive Plan for travellers who already have emergency medical coverage through workplace benefits or credit cards.

Other additions include a Cancel for Any Reason rider, new plans for youth travellers and three new Visitors to Canada products. Manulife is also increasing Trip Cancellation coverage limits and allowing customers to purchase select plans up to two years before departure.
