WestJet Encore debuts new Toronto-Boston service today

CALGARY — Just in time for St. Patty’s Day, WetJet has launched new service between Toronto and Boston, the newest addition to the airline’s ever growing network.

The new service, which launched today with flight 3600, will operate three times daily on WestJet Encore’s fleet of Bombardier Q400 NextGen aircraft. According to Ferio Pugliese, President of WestJet Encore, this marks the airline’s “first trans-border route and represents another step in the growth and evolution of WestJet Encore.”

In addition to providing Canadians with access to Boston, Pugliese notes that the service gives Bostonians heading north the opportunity to connect with WestJet’s ever expanding Canadian and European networks.

In less than three years, WestJet Encore has gone from two aircraft and 10 daily departures to 28 aircraft and over 130 daily departures serving 33 cities including Boston. This June, WestJet Encore will also launch service to Nashville, Tennessee.
