TORONTO – It’s a first for Sunwing Vacations and welcome news for Vancouverites. For the very first time, the tour operator will be offering holiday packages this summer from Vancouver to St. Maarten, offering West coast travellers easy access to this beloved destination.

Available weekly from May 18 to Aug. 24, 2016, via Toronto, packages include flights with Sunwing Airlines and accommodations at top resorts like Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino, available exclusively through Sunwing Vacations. Set right on the beach, this Smile Resort offers on-site snorkel lessons, evening entertainment and a complimentary kids club with a dedicated children’s pool.

Along with exploring St. Maarten this summer, residents of Vancouver can also take advantage of two other flight connections from Vancouver to the Caribbean. Commencing May 21 and operating until Aug. 27, 2016, a new Saturday service via Toronto will connect vacationers with the sun-soaked island of Jamaica. Sunwing will also be offering the popular Vancouver connection (via Toronto) to Punta Cana for a second summer season running, beginning with a Thursday weekly service with departures between May 26-Aug. 25 and increasing to twice weekly with the addition of a Sunday departure between June 13-Aug. 28, 2016 inclusive.
