TRAVELSAVERS has named Johan Marjanek Director, New Business Development for the brand on the West Coast and Quebec. Effective immediately, Marjanek will be responsible for increasing TRAVELSAVERS’ membership base of independent travel agencies. “We are pleased to welcome Johan to our team,” says Kathryn Mazza-Burney, Executive Vice President of Sales and Service for TRAVELSAVERS. “He joins us with a proven track record of sales success, both on the agency and supplier side of the business and we know he’ll be an asset to the TRAVELSAVERS family and our agencies.” Marjanek joins TRAVELSAVERS with over 15 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. Prior to TRAVELSAVERS, Marjanek served as Development Manager for Carlson Wagonlit’s associates program, where he was responsible for the training, support and bottom line growth of travel agencies across Canada. Previous positions include managerial roles with Homewood Suites by Hilton, Deer Lodge and Le Nouvel Hotel.
