G Adventures unveil new National Geographic Journeys

TORONTO — G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions have added a lineup of eight new trips to their hugely successful ‘National geographic Journeys with G Adventures’ collection. 

Encompassing hands-on exploration on every adventure, the collection traverses Scotland, Turkey and Wyoming, plus a new tour joins the two previous Peru and Bolivia departures together. There are also four new ‘National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures’ trips geared towards parents, children and extended families looking to explore Belize, Greece, Ireland and the Southwest United States.

The new trips in the collection bring to the total number of trips to 89 across both collections, including 16 designed especially for families. They are available to book now, with the first departures taking place in April 2024.

New National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures include:

  • Iconic Wildlife of Yellowstone &  Grand Teton: Under the guidance of local experts and naturalists, guests will explore geological wonders like waterfalls and geysers, and keep watch for the region’s abundant wildlife including grizzlies, wolves, moose, bald eagles and the elusive gray wolf.
  • Treasures of Peru & Bolivia: Guests will travel back to the time of the ancient Inca Empire and explore the temples and terraces of Machu Picchu, as well as the former capital city of Cusco in Peru. They’ll also visit Bolivia’s historic cities Sucre and La Paz to learn more about the region’s indigenous population.
  • Scotland: History & Highlands: This nine-day journey includes such highlights as spectacular castles, Iron Age museums and famed ruins. Guests will journey along the Scottish Highlands from Pitlochery to Portree and discover charming villages glistening lochs and famed distilleries.
  • Cultural Wonders of Turkey: While on this journey, guests will unravel the fascinating history of Turkey with visits to Istanbul, Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia and more.
