Enterprise opens two new locations in Toronto area

TORONTO – Enterprise Holdings, Canada’s largest car rental company, has expanded its national network with two new locations in the Greater Toronto Area.

A new location has been unveiled near Union Station in downtown Toronto, while another office has opened near Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga.

“We are excited about expanding our market and opening new locations in the heart of the financial sector across from Union Station, as well as in the community of Mississauga,” said Steve Tudela, corporate vice president of Canadian operations for Enterprise Holdings, which owns the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands.

The new branch near Union Station is located at 181 Bay Street and not only serves local Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Alamo Rent A Car customers in the downtown core, but also thousands of commuters from regional carrier GO Transit and the local Toronto Transit Commission, as well as tourists arriving from the airport using the UP Express. This branch also is connected to the PATH, Toronto’s underground pedestrian walkway.

The new branch in Mississauga, located at 285 Enfield Place, serves Enterprise Rent-A-Car customers and is open seven days a week. The location is particularly convenient for customers in one of Greater Toronto area’s biggest shopping districts.

Enterprise Holdings – which currently has more than 600 airport and neighbourhood locations throughout Canada – now operates eight locations in downtown Toronto and seven within the Mississauga area. “Whether they are in the heart of the city or in more suburban locations, our neighbourhood offices are the key to making local transportation options as accessible and affordable as possible for consumers,” Tudela said.

Enterprise Holdings also has opened or expanded other strategically located branch offices throughout Canada since last fall.

These new locations serve local business renters and retail renters, as well as support Enterprise’s insurance and collision repair partnerships.

These include: St. Stephen, New Brunswick; Clarenville, Newfoundland; Burin, Newfoundland; Fort St. John, British Columbia; and Ottawa, Ontario.

In addition to being the largest car rental company in Canada, Enterprise Holdings is the world’s largest car rental provider – as measured by revenue, fleet and employees – and is part of a global network exceeding 9,000 offices and

1.7 million vehicles throughout more than 80 countries and territories.
