DoubleTree by Hilton opens first hotel in Quebec in GatineauGATINEAU, QC — DoubleTree by Hilton has opened DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa, marking entry of Hilton Worldwide’s hotel brand into the province of Quebec.

Formerly the Château Cartier, the landmark located in the National Capital Region unveils an updated look and enhanced amenities following an 18-month, $3 million revamp of the hotel’s guest rooms, public areas and amenities. The hotel is owned and managed by Ken Pierre Investment LPD.

Set within a chateau-style property, the 125-room hotel debuts updated décor and amenities throughout all of the guest rooms, lobby and meeting areas.

Located in the heart of Gatineau, DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa is 20 kilometres (12.4 miles) from Macdonald-Cartier International Airport.
