Dining details revealed for Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, opening next month

TORONTO — Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort, is getting its finishing touches ahead of its opening next month.

The 1,005-room property, the latest from Royalton Luxury Resorts, part of Sunwing Travel Group’s resorts division, is scheduled to open Dec. 20.

In October 2021 Sunwing Travel Group announced the integration of its Blue Diamond Resorts properties into Marriott International’s Autograph Collection and Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will offer entertainment for all ages and a select variety of culinary options for all tastes.

The latest update offers new details about the resort’s F&B offer.

With 22 food and beverage outlets including bars, the 12 restaurants of this brand-new resort have been already delivered and are now ready to present its new and innovative gourmet proposal, says the company.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will be the first Blue Diamond Resorts property to offer two new dining outlets in its portfolio: Smoke, serving southern-style BBQ cuisine; and The Cave, with global flavors prepared exclusively with carefully selected local ingredients, in a unique setting featuring “a mystical and organic design of a cavern and underground lakes.”

The popular chef’s table, Culinary Experience, will also offer a new feature, introducing The Winery. The Winery will be an annex space for wine, mezcal and tequila lovers offering palate-amplifying tastings before or after their private seven-course dinner.

Also debuting in this property, Shaken will be its first mixology bar that will offer handcrafted cocktails mixed with the local culture.

Among the other dining facilities at Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, the 12 options will also feature a buffet, a sports bar and ten à la carte that include the well-known Brazilian grill Rio and the Parisian-style Ma Maison that will debut in Mexico and become the main restaurant venues in 2023.
