Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will open its doors Dec. 20, 2022

TORONTO — The all-inclusive Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun is scheduled to open Dec. 20, 2022.

The brand new property is the latest from Royalton Luxury Resorts, part of Sunwing Travel Group’s resorts division.

Winter getaways at the new-build are now available to book, says Sunwing’s Chief Marketing Officer, Samantha Taylor.

For opening week, departing Toronto on Dec. 20, 2022, a sample package rate of $2,785 per person (taxes included) includes a 7-night stay in a Luxury Junior Suite Oceanview, double occupancy.

“For 11 years and counting, Sunwing’s resort division has continued to expand its portfolio and meet our customers in some of the most beloved sun destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America,” says Taylor. “We’re thrilled for Sunwing customers to experience the new Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun, the first Royalton Splash in Mexico, and enjoy its luxury offerings and larger-than-life amenities, just in time for the 2022-2023 holiday season.”

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will have an expansive on-site water park, one of the Caribbean’s largest, with 14 large water slides, two lazy rivers, a kids pool and splash pad.

The resort will also offer more than 1,000 modern suites, featuring the Royalton signature DreamBed with high-thread-count sheets, rain shower, 24-hour room service, in-suite Jacuzzi in select room categories and a well-stocked mini-bar.

Clients looking to upgrade can book into the exclusive Diamond Club section with dedicated butler services, private oceanview lounge with premium drinks and canapés, an exclusive beach area and more.

There’s also daily entertainment and nightly shows, two theatres, laser tag, bowling, a trampoline park, supervised programming for kids and teens and free resort-wide WiFi. The Royalton Fit program includes an on-site fitness centre.

For drinks and dining, Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun will offer 12 restaurants and nine bars and much more on-site, with the added benefit of unlimited reservation-free dining.

For additional fees, guests can reserve a treatment at The Royal Spa or book a private beachfront cabana.
