Club Med launches fall savings at sun & ski resorts

TORONTO — Club Med is kickstarting the fall season with savings at both is sun and ski resort destinations.

From now until Nov. 3, 2021, guests can book discounted travel to their favourite Club Med sun destinations resorts from Sept. 4, 2021 to May 6, 2022. Families travelling with children will receive up to 50% off for kids under the age of 16, while kids under four stay for free. Participating family-favourite resorts include Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Turkoise, Turks & Caicos, and Cancún Yucatan, Mexico.

Those who prefer snow over sand can book a vacation at the brand’s first Canadian resort, Club Med Québec Charlevoix, opening this December. The ‘Ready, Set, Ski’ sale includes up to 45% off and is available to book now through Oct. 18, 2021, for stays at the new resort from Dec. 3, 2021 through to April 10, 2022. The sale also applies to stays at resorts in the French Alps (La Rosière, Val Thorens Sensations, Valmorel, Peisey-Vallandry) from Nov. 21, 2021 through to April 30, 2022. All-inclusive packages include accommodations, lift tickets, group ski and snowboard lessons, all-day dining, après-ski activities and ski-in/ski-out access.

To ensure flexibility and safety among all guests, Club Med is offering the following peace-of-mind policies:

  • Flexible Cancellation Policy: For all new bookings, guests can receive a full refund of their all-inclusive packages (including airfare if their flights were booked with Air Canada, Air Transat or WestJet) if a cancellation is needed for vacations booked by Sept. 30, 2021.
  • Emergency Assistance Program: All clients travelling before Dec. 31, 2022 will be provided with coverage for emergency medical expenses during their stay, including those related to COVID-19, such as missed flights, repatriation and hospitalization expenses.
  • Safe Together Program: With a trained team providing ongoing support, Club Med has implemented enhanced safety and hygiene protocols across all resorts worldwide. New measures include temperature checks on arrival and periodically during the stay; protective face coverings for staff; hand sanitizer available throughout the resort; deep cleaning and frequent sanitizing of surfaces and facilities; capped resort capacity and medical staff available 24/7 in the resort. Seating arrangements in the dining rooms have also been modified to allow guests to distance themselves.

To accommodate Canadians re-entering Canada from international destinations, Club Med is also offering complimentary Rapid Antigen COVID-19 testing on-site. PCR testing is also available at an additional cost.
