HELSINKI — Boarding a flight to hell is worrisome enough, but one that departs on flight 666 on Friday the 13th seems extra ominous, indeed.
This is exactly what happened last Friday with Finnair flight from Copenhagen, Denmark, bound for Helsinki, Finland (HEL). The regularly scheduled flight, which lasts approximately 90 minutes, had the unfortunate coincidence of departing on the unlucky day of Friday the 13th with the flight number 666.
This ‘perfect storm’ of coincidences was enough to elicit shock and even jealousy on social media. One person sarcastically asked if black cats and broken mirrors were being stored in cargo, while another said he would have loved to have been on this flight, precisely for its ominous factor.
Despite the seemingly unlucky circumstances, flight 666 bound for HEL arrived safe and sound. Thank heavens.
