MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations’ CareFree package is now available for cruise vacation purchases for the discounted price of $49, offering added value for clients looking for more peace of mind when booking their next cruise holiday.

Earlier this month ACV also dropped the price for CareFree plans purchased with land packages to the Caribbean and Mexico, again down to $49.

With this new deal, travellers who purchase ACV’s CareFree with air and cruise get free regular seat selection, year-round Price Drop Guarantee and a $50 waiver on administrative change fees.

The plan is applicable to any destination or cruise line as well as to kids. The year-round Price Drop Guarantee is a one-time, cash back offer of up to $200 per passenger if the price of air and cruise drops after booking.

As an introductory offer, the plan will cost clients $49 per person until Oct. 31. The regular price is $79. It’s a total value of $310 in savings. For travel consultants, CareFree Cruise is another opportunity to earn extra commission.

Perks include no deposit required for flights, a 100% refund on flights up to 30 days prior to travel, one name change up to 30 days prior to travel, connectors from 64 Canadian cities, a Best Price Guarantee and a Flight Guarantee. Travellers can also earn Aeroplan Miles. Some restrictions apply.

With the ACV&ME loyalty program, travel agents who book hotels, cruises and groups will receive 600 points per room for packages of 7+ nights; 400 points per room for packages of 3-6 nights; 600 points per stateroom for Air & Cruise packages; and 300 points per passenger for Group bookings.

ACV&ME Points can be redeemed for Aeroplan Miles, travel vouchers or Visa gift cards.
