ACV brings back cruise vacations with exclusive flight credits

Air Canada Vacations drops CareFree price to $49

MONTREAL — For a limited time clients can purchase Air Canada Vacations’ CareFree add-on package for $49 per person, down from the regular price of $79.

The CareFree Plan, applicable to travel to select destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean, covers free seat selection, year-round Price Drop Guarantee, StormGuard and a $50 waiver on administrative change fees, a total value of $339 in savings. For travel consultants, CareFree is another opportunity to earn extra commission, says ACV.

The year-round Price Drop Guarantee is a one-time, cash back offer of up to $200 per passenger if the price of a package drops after booking. StormGuard lets clients rebook their vacation if the U.S. National Hurricane Center declares a tropical storm warning within 72 hours of their scheduled departure.

“We want to take the hassle out of planning a vacation, so we came up with CareFree to make things easier and more flexible,” said ACV’s Managing Director, Nino Montagnese.

With the ACV&ME loyalty program, travel agents who book hotels, cruises and groups will receive 600 points per room for packages of 7+ nights; 400 points per room for packages of 3-6 nights; 600 points per stateroom for Air & Cruise packages; and 300 points per passenger for Group bookings. ACV&ME Points can be redeemed for Aeroplan Miles, travel vouchers or Visa gift cards.
