Red Label Vacations thanks agents for record Black Friday sales

MISSISSAUGA — It was a Black Friday to remember for Red Label Vacations (RLV), which achieved record sales figures following the iconic shopping weekend.

Both the company’s wholesale and retail divisions reported record sales from Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The wholesale division, TravelBrands, provides travel products to agents and agencies. Its retail division comprises redtag.ca, itravel2000.com, The Travel Experts, Flights.ca and Cruises.ca.

“For our wholesale division, TravelBrands wanted to give travel agents diverse offers so they could have a competitive edge in the market,” said Nathalie Tanious, senior vice president, RLV. “We also showed our agents appreciation by giving bonus Loyalty rewards points for their bookings. I am so happy that our agents and partners were able to take advantage of our Black Friday promotions. We hope that we can exceed this milestone next year.”

Dianne Jackson, vice president of retail, RLV, added that the company’s goal was to connect with its customers and provide them with “true value and savings” for their next getaway.

“I am so proud to say we surpassed that goal and were able to have a record-breaking Black Friday sale. RLV’s retail division is continuously growing, innovating and I cannot wait to see what the future brings.”

Jackson went on to thank RLV’s clients, partners, agents and suppliers who made the weekend sale a resounding success.
