MSC Cruises opens bookings for World Cruise 2024

TORONTO — Bookings have opened for MSC Cruises’ World Cruise 2024, a 121-day voyage that will visit 52 destinations in 31 countries.

Sailing aboard MSC Poesia and departing Jan. 5, 2024 in the ports of Civitavecchia/Rome, Genoa, Marseille or Barcelona, the cruise kicks off in the Mediterranean with stops in France, Spain, Italy, Malta, Cyprus and overnight in Haifa, Israel and a day visit to Cairo. Guests will then transition through the world-famous Suez Canal to the Red Sea for visits to Luxor and Petra.

From there, the ship will cross the South Atlantic Ocean to South America and the Brazilian Amazon. Sailing up the mighty Amazon River as far as Manaus, guests will be treated to calls at Salvador de Bahia and Belém, plus an overnight stop in Rio de Janeiro.

Next, the voyage will head to the Caribbean, including Saint Lucia, Barbados, Martinique, Dominican Republic and The Bahamas, including MSC Cruises’ private island, Ocean Cay, while en route to North America. Once the ship arrives, it will overnight in Miami and New York City before continuing north to Nova Scotia and Quebec. Upon its return home, MSC Poesia will visit some of Northern Europe’s finest cities including Greenland and Iceland.

Every booking includes 15 shore excursions and a Dine & Drink package, as well as 30% off all laundry. Additional excursions and packages can be booked in advance and during the cruise.
