Lindblad Expeditions to make booster shots mandatory

NEW YORK — Lindblad Expeditions is making it mandatory for passengers to be boosted against COVID-19 in order to board.

Effective March 1, 2022, all guests 12 years of age and older who have completed their primary vaccination series more than five months ago will be required to present proof of booster prior to embarkation. Boosters can be received any time prior to embarkation.

Any FDA-recommended vaccine will be accepted: Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson (Jannsen). For non-U.S. guests, Lindblad will also accept Astra-Zeneca. Guests with another WHO-recommended vaccine should check with their Expedition Specialist when making their reservation.

According to Lindblad, its COVID-19 Global Policy Team meets daily to stay up to date of the latest research and public health recommendations. They continue to update their protocols accordingly, in line with local, state, federal and international regulations and guidelines in the destinations they visit.
