Emerald Cruises announces new Saudi Arabia voyages for Emerald Azzurra

VANCOUVER — Emerald Cruises has unveiled two brand new itineraries for the Emerald Azzurra ahead of its January 2022 launch.

Both itineraries will sail the Red Sea and take guests to Saudi Arabia, a new destination for the company. Highlights of the new itineraries include bucket-list spots like the Great Pyramids of Giza, ancient Petra and the Suez Canal.

To celebrate the launch, Emerald Cruises is offering a bonus included Premium Drinks Package for bookings made by Aug. 31, 2021, entitling guests to a selection of refreshing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during their time onboard. In addition, guests can choose to pay their balance in full at the time of booking and take advantage of Emerald Cruises’ Super Earlybird savings up to 25% off selected cabins.

Here are more details of the two new itineraries:

 

  • Mysteries & Treasures of the Red Sea and Saudi Arabia’ (10 days): This itinerary will sail between Limassol, Cyprus and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with ports of call in Egypt and Jordan. Highlights include the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx at Port Said, snorkelling in the Red Sea at Sharm El-Sheikh, and visits to King Abdulaziz Fort in Duba, and Petra. Prices start at $5,326 per person, departing Feb. 14, 2022.
  • Ancient Wonders of the Red Sea and Mythical Greece’ (12 days): This longer itinerary sails between Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Athens, Greece, calling on Al Wahj, Duba, Aqaba and Sharm-El Sheik, as well as Ain Sokhna, the nearest beach resort to Cairo, Crete, Santorini and Athens. Highlights include a glass bottom boat trip at Naama bay in Sharm El-Sheik, a traditional Felucca cruise on the Nile with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza, a walking tour of Agios Nikolaos, Greece and a day in Santorini. Prices start at $6,255 per person, departing March 18, 2022.

Launching in January, Emerald Azzurra is the first custom-built ocean superyacht from Emerald Cruises. It carries just 100 guests, spread across 50 deluxe suites and staterooms, with the majority of cabins having access to private balconies. Other onboard features include the Sky Deck with its Spa Pool, the Wellness Deck featuring a spa, gym, sauna and hairdressers, and a marina platform where guests have easy access to snorkelling, paddle boarding and swimming during swim-stops.
