It’s one thing to know that travel agent associations are lobbying the government on agents’ behalf. It’s another to actually hear it and see it in action.
MONTREAL — Air Canada Vacations has updated its existing program for Western Canada with a new flight operating from Winnipeg to Cancun.
The tour operator announced on Oct. 16 the addition of 17 nonstop flights from Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver to Mexico and the Caribbean, including Antigua, Aruba, Cozumel, Curaçao, Liberia, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, San Jose, Saint Lucia, Varadero and Ixtapa/Zihuantanejo.
The latest update will now see the resumption of flights from Winnipeg to Cancun starting Feb. 6, operating once a week on Saturdays.
In addition, flights from Vancouver to Cancun has been updated to resume on Nov. 8 (previously Nov. 6), operating once a week on Sundays (previously Fridays).

Travellers will benefit from the new COVID-19 Coverage & Assistance Plan administered by Allianz Global Assistance at no additional cost. Plus, Air Canada Vacations’ CareFlexPlus travel protection program is now being offered for free.
