KELOWNA — WestJet has added new nonstop service between Kelowna and Toronto to its 2023/24 winter schedule.
Kicking off on Nov. 5, 2023, the new route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays from Kelowna, and Sundays and Thursdays from Toronto.
“WestJet is pleased to offer enhanced connectivity between Kelowna and Toronto now on this winter, which will provide a convenient and affordable travel options for our guest travelling between these two cities for business or leisure,” said Jane McCurdy, WestJet Director, Network Planning and Alliances. “The addition of this new route to our winter schedule is a further continuation of our growth strategy’s focus on providing nonstop service connecting eastern and Western Canada 12 months of the year.”
This winter, WestJet will be offering nine nonstop routes from Kelowna and 40 from Toronto.
Last month, the airline unveiled its winter schedule featuring 230 direct routes from Canada to major sun destinations as well as expanded key domestic routes. It most recently announced expanded sun service from Fraser Valley, British Columbia as well as brand new Bonaire service from Toronto starting Dec. 12 as part of its winter schedule.
