“We are thrilled to finally open our doors”: Club Med Québec Charlevoix debuts

PETITE-RIVIÈRE-SAINT-FRANÇOIS — Club Med has officially opened the doors to its first Canadian four-season mountain resort, Club Med Québec Charlevoix.

Guests can stay in one of the 302 rooms, including Deluxe Room and Superior Room accommodations. With an outside facing bed view, the Deluxe Room offers bright contrasting colours of sunshine yellow and cardinal red. And with the backdrop of Québec’s wide-open spaces, the Superior Room features shades of winter white and dusk blue to highlight the local colours.

Nestled at the top of the resort, Club Med Québec Charlevoix is also home to 25 Exclusive Collection suites. Guests staying in the five-star suites will have access to a private welcome lounge, a dedicated ski room and an Exclusive Collection Space that includes a cozy fireplace, panoramic views of the river, round-the-clock concierge service and a private terrace with whirlpool. Additional perks include an in-room mini-bar that is refilled daily, room service, bar and evening champagne service and high-end toiletries.

With stunning waterfront panoramas and sweeping views of the scenic St. Lawrence River, this 4-trident (four-star) property accommodates families, couples, singles, friends, and meeting and events groups with packages, amenities and activities.

“We are thrilled to finally open our doors to Club Med Québec Charlevoix and to Canada,” says Henri Giscard D’Estaing, President, Club Med. “As we ease back into travel, we know this picturesque property hidden in the mountains of Charlevoix will be a front-runner for domestic and international vacationers. Club Med has operated for over 50 years in this country, and we are honoured to continue our investment with the first Canadian property and first four-season mountain resort in North America.”

Located just 90 minutes from Quebec City in Le Massif de Charlevoix region, the resort is spread across 300+ acres of land and features a full roster of experiences to match the skill and interest of any traveller, including all-day gourmet dining and open bar options with local and international specialties, as well as après- ski activities and entertainment.

All-inclusive dining options at Le Marché, Terroir & Co. and Le Chalet celebrate both Canadian and French cuisine classics. With an emphasis on farm to table dining, most food will be sourced locally within Canada.

Home to a wide range of activities all year-round, visitors can enjoy the convenience of ski-in/ski-out slope access with included ski and snowboard passes and classes.

Non-skiers will have plenty to do with activities including Nordic walking, snowshoeing, ice-skating, broomball plus a variety of la carte excursions.
