VoX International announces two new hires

TORONTO — VoX International has welcomed two new members to its PR and travel trade teams.

Sonya Singh has taken over the reins of the VISIT FLORIDA account as its new PR Manager. Singh, who previously served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Fairmont Royal York and Ripley’s Aquarium, has also managed PR for Visit California and Barbados on the Canadian side, as well as other tourism clients, and worked for several TV stations like CTV and E! Also an author, Singh’s debut novel, ‘Sari, not Sari,’ is due out in April 2022.

On the trade side, Cari Marotta is rejoining the VoX team effective Feb. 7 as Chief Partner Hugger/Account Manager North America. Previously on the Australia account, Marotta has now been appointed to work on the Trees4Travel account, promoting the program to travel industry partners, assisting with outreach, training and other sales activities.

“Given the past couple of years, we are very excited to start out 2022 on such a positive note,” said Susan Webb, President of VoX International. “We are delighted to welcome Sonya to the team – she has fabulous PR experience and an enthusiasm for the business that we know will serve our clients very well. And of course, we are so happy to have Cari back with the VoX family. She will be instrumental in building the Trees4Travel program as we do our part to help the planet.”

Singh and Marotta can be reached at Sonya@voxinternational.com and Cari@voxinternational.com, respectively.
