Virtuoso’s Travel Week conference scheduled for Aug. 8-13

NEW YORK — Virtuoso’s renowned Travel Week conference will take on a hybrid model this year, with both an in-person portion as well as remote feeds that will allow thousands to attend from the comfort of their own home.

Taking place Aug. 8-13, the conference is expected to welcome 2,000 attendees in person at Bellagio Resort & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa in Las Vegas. Several thousands more will be joining remotely.

The conference’s popular one-to-one networking appointments and professional development, available to all participants, will be back to “reunite friends, colleagues and business partners who need each other now more than ever to get travel and tourism back on its feet,” says Virtuoso. Both in-person and remote attendees will have access to Virtuoso Week’s robust training lineup from expert presenters. The content is also made available to registrants for a full month following the event.

Also on the agenda are longer, selected appointments that complement the shorter, Virtuoso Week matched one-on-ones; Globetrotting programs that focus on Virtuoso’s Communities in key areas such as cruise, adventure, family, culinary and ultra-luxe travel; and a dedicated Cruise Café plus partner lounges.

“Ours is a relationship business, first and foremost,” said Matthew D. Upchurch, Chairman and CEO of Virtuoso, “and there is no better manifestation of the power of human connection than Virtuoso Week. There’s the original speed-dating appointments in the morning and our famed Globetrotting sessions focused on Virtuoso Communities in the afternoon, but equally important are the ‘meetings after the meeting’ that take place in the hallways of Bellagio, or during dinner or, quite frankly, over a drink at the bar.

“That relationship-building is crucial to restarting travel in a meaningful way and that leadership by our network in investing in relationships is at the core of our success, professionally and personally. We’re pleased to foster and support our members, advisors and partners by hosting luxury travel’s first global event with in-person attendance this year.”

Virtuoso Travel Week attendance is open to all travel agencies, advisors and preferred partners who belong to the Virtuoso network. The deadline for virtual sign-up is July 14. For more information, visit here
