TORONTO — Vision Travel has capped off an exceptional year with the Virtuoso award for top year-over-year revenue growth for 2018-2019.
As the leisure travel division of Direct Travel in Canada, Vision Travel has over 500 travel advisors in 40 locations across Canada, and is a leading member of Virtuoso.
Direct Travel, meanwhile, also saw record-breaking attendance at the Virtuoso Vegas networking conference this year, bringing close to one-quarter of its 800 luxury travel advisors from around the world to meet with Virtuoso’s top-rated hotels, cruise lines and tour operators.
Linda Sinclair, senior vice-president of Vision Travel, and Stephen Smith, senior vice-president leisure marketing for Direct Travel recently accepted the award.
Said Sinclair: “As long-standing members of Virtuoso, we are thrilled to receive this acknowledgment of our success and the efforts of all of our travel advisors. It’s a clear reflection of the passion and professionalism of our leisure travel advisors and the teams that support them. We are all so very proud.”
