Two new senior appointments for Corporate Traveller

TORONTO — Corporate Traveller (CT), part of the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG), has announced two new appointments to its senior executive team, effective immediately.

Amanda Vining has been appointed to the new role of Chief Sales & Customer Officer globally, while Chris Lynes has been named President of Corporate Traveller for the Americas, also a new role for the company.

Based in Boston, Vining will be responsible for developing scalable models to ensure that sales, retention and growth targets are achieved across the CT business globally. She began her career as a Business Development Manager with CT, consistently achieving top sales both within the USA and globally. Having spent 14 years as part of the Flight Centre Travel Group, her subsequent roles include Sales Team Leader, National Sales Leader and, most recently, President of Corporate Traveler USA.

In his new role, Lynes will be responsible for the continued evolution of the Americas regional business, in addition to developing CT’s new ‘glocal’ structure. The Toronto-based executive is a 21-year veteran of the Flight Centre Travel Group where he has held various leadership roles, including Area Leader, Brand Leader and, most recently, Senior Vice President Corporate Brands in Canada.

Both Vining and Lynes will report jointly to Tom Walley, the newly announced Global Managing Director of Corporate Traveller, and Charlene Leiss, President of Flight Centre Travel Group, Americas.
