Celestyal Cruises unveils Seaware res platform for agents

ATHENS — Celestyal Cruises’ new Seaware reservations platform, designed for travel advisors, offers advanced CRM functionality as well as access to a greater variety of pre- and post-packages, says the cruise line.

Using the Seaware platform, travel agents booking Celestyal sailings for their clients can access both mandatory and optional components for pre- and post-packages, rule-based pricing, payment and cancellations schedules, shore excursions and onboard experiences. Agents can also use Seaware to create customized segments, individualized itineraries and large, family bookings.

Clients can get direct access to their Celestyal bookings too, says Leslie Peden, chief commercial officer, Celestyal Cruises.

“The release of our Seaware Reservations Platform is just one more example of our deep and ongoing commitment to our travel advisor partners,” sys Peden. “We have been working closely with [tech provider] Versonix for a year now in preparation for this release and have been engaging in ongoing conversations with many of our travel advisor partners to have a seamless transition to our new reservations platform.”

Peden adds that the cruise line expects a “significant adoption” of Seaware by Celestyal’s travel advisor partners.

Seaware is expected to go live this week. Travel advisors already enrolled with Celestyal received a link to Seaware’s user’s manual and tutorial videos along with their personal log-in details. New users are asked to visit Celestyal.com to register for credentials, in the Travel Agents Booking Area (at the bottom of the home page).
