NASHVILLE —The Travel Agent Next Door won big at The Travel Leader’s Edge Conference earlier this month, walking away with the night’s top award for a Canadian agency.

Taking place in Nashville at Gaylord Opryland Resort, the annual EDGE 2023 conference welcomed some 1,700 TLN members, staff and supplier partners for three days of workshops, General sessions and the ‘Power of the Partnership (POP) Awards,’ during which both travel agencies and suppliers were honoured. 

The Travel Agent Next Door was awarded Best Canadian Affiliate Member of the Year.

“I am very proud to accept this award on behalf of all of our agent partners within The Travel Agent Next Door,” said Flemming Friisdahl, founder of The Travel Agent Next Door. “For us all to be recognized as the best in Canada within such a short period of time is something we are very proud of.”

The Travel Agent Next Door will mark its 10th anniversary next year with a big celebration at its next annual conference, taking place in Jordan in June 2024. Registration for the conference sold out in 47 seconds, with over 150 agents now on a wait list.
