TravelBrands aims to reach 10,000 Facebook members with promise of agent prizes

MISSISSAUGA — TravelBrands is promising travel agents “amazing prizes” upon reaching its goal of 10,000 Facebook members.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of its Facebook group, YourTravelBrandsBDM, the company is asking the Canadian travel agent community to help build the group to 10,000-strong, between both its English and French groups. Once this goal is reached, TravelBrands will give its Facebook members the chance to win prizes.

“Our Facebook group was created in 2014 with the sole purpose of connecting with our travel agents on a more personal level,” said Nathalie Tanious, senior vice president, TravelBrands. “We know our dedicated agents don’t work the standard 9-to-5 so we don’t either. This group ensures access to the TravelBrands team, at almost all hours of the day. Plus, it’s a great forum to have fun and remind everyone that #TravelBrandsLovesAgents.”

Through YourTravelBrandsBDM group, agents are granted exclusive access to daily tips and tricks for their bookings. It also provides them with another avenue to ask questions, seek advice and receive timely responses.

TravelBrands also hosts multiple dedicated contests and giveaways for Facebook group members throughout the year.

A private contest will be hosted on the Facebook group only once the 10,000-member goal is reached. Existing and new agent members will be eligible to win prizing.
