Transat’s Confetti program rewards top wedding sellers

MONTREAL — Transat’s Confetti program has rewarded the three winners of its fourth sales challenge, which highlighted the performance of Canada’s top wedding group sellers.

That’s how Pamela Walker of Tier One Travel in Calgary, Nikki Hume of Destination Weddings, Ontario, and Mylène Arcand of Voyages En Direct Beloeil, Quebec, each won a romance package consisting of romance-themed gift cards: $1,000 at Tiffany & Co., $200 at the Liquor Store, $200 at Victoria’s Secret and $100 at Godiva Chocolatier.

The surprise was particularly rewarding for Hume, whose prize was delivered in person by Groups Director Mary Santonato, surrounded by all of Transat’s representatives: “I can’t believe I won! I gave 200% to this challenge and waited impatiently for the announcement of the winners. The romance package couldn’t be more appropriate… My wedding band just broke so the $1,000 gift card at Tiffany will come in very handy.”

The winners’ agencies also received $1,000 in cash and were automatically entered in the draw for the $25,000 grand prize at the end of the year.

In March, the challenge of the month will reward the top three Europe product sellers in Canada. The winners will each get a prepaid gas card valued at $1,800. Prizes will be distributed between Western Canada, Ontario/Atlantic Canada and Quebec.

The winning agencies will also receive $1,000 and will be entered in the grand prize draw.
