Transat launched the Confetti program on Nov. 1 with a Sun destination challenge to kick off its 12-month reward program. Four agents rose to the challenge and were rewarded for their excellent performances. Each regional winner was visited by Transat representatives, who came to celebrate their success under a shower of confetti. During this surprise ceremony, they each received their trophy and a cheque for $5,000. Transat would like to congratulate Rita Sanduja from itravel2000 in Toronto, Manju Maniyan from Escapes.ca in Vancouver, Monique MacMullin from Maritime Travel in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and finally, Claudie Roy from Sears Voyages in Quebec City who was surprised and awarded at the Montréal-Trudeau airport as she was preparing to fly Air Transat with her family. The winning agencies also received $2,000 in cash and were automatically entered in the random draw for a grand prize of $25,000 taking place at the end of the year. In December, there will be 19 winners. This month’s challenge involves all Transat brands and products, with one winning agent for each Canadian gateway served by Transat. The winners will receive a prepaid Visa card valued at $1,000, as well as their agencies, who will also be entered in the grand prize draw.
