MISSISSAUGA — Collette is inviting travel advisors to take a closer look at the legal side of their business with an upcoming virtual event focused on risk reduction and business protection.

Scheduled for May 12, 2026 at 12 p.m. ET, the session, titled “Selling Strategies: A Legal Checkup for Travel Advisors,” will address some of the most common legal challenges facing advisors today, from terms and conditions to chargebacks and fraud.

Part of a five-part series designed to enhance advisors’ selling skills, the upcoming event will feature Thomas Carpenter, Principal Attorney at Carpenter Law Group PC and Owner and Travel Advisor at Huckleberry Travel, who brings a unique dual perspective as both a legal expert and an active travel advisor. Drawing on real-world experience, Carpenter will share practical insights into how everyday business decisions can expose advisors to risk and what steps can be taken to mitigate those issues.
