After a busy year, Club Med looks forward to more resort openings worldwide

MONTREAL — With close to 80 resorts across the world – in the Caribbean, the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia – Club Med always has news to share with its travel advisor partners about new and updated properties.

Just this month, Club Med welcomed a new resort in Japan – Club Med Kiroro Grand. Meanwhile the legendary brand continues to renovate and innovate almost everywhere on the planet.

As reported in Travelweek Group’s French-language travel trade news source, Profession Voyages, Club Med Kiroro Grand strengthens Club Med’s all-inclusive offer in the winter season, now with more than 20 mountain villages now in the Alps, Quebec and Asia.

Inspired by the dreamlike landscapes of the region, Club Med Kiroro Grand – on the island of Hokkaido – was designed around the theme of an enchanted forest, drawing inspiration of Japanese influences, from the reception to the 266 rooms.

Located three minutes by gondola from neighbouring village Club Med Kiroro Peak, Club Med Kiroro Grand has 23 slopes for all levels. It also provides access to off-piste routes on the Asari and Nagalmine mountains, and guests can even practice skiing there by night. Customers will have direct access to the ski area from the village, plus they’ll have the opportunity to sign up for ski and snowboard lessons.

Club Med Kiroro Grand targets families, couples and ski enthusiasts who want to experience a high-end stay in the mountains, until May thanks to a sliding season which extends over 160 days. The establishment also has a Kids Club for ages two to 17.

Beyond skiing, Club Med Kiroro Grand guests can enjoy yoga or access the wellness lounge with sauna, indoor swimming pool and spa, within the new village.

Guests will also have the opportunity to discover the culture and traditions of the region during a visit to Otaru, a coastal town in Sapporo known for its glassware, its sake and its breweries.

WHAT’S NEW ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD?
