LAS VEGAS — Two Canadian travel agents are among the latest winners at Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas.
Cindy Ducasse of TTI Travel in Toronto took home the award for ‘Most Admired Advisor – Canada’. Agents in Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America/Caribbean and the U.S. were also honoured with Most Admired Advisor awards.
Meanwhile Jessica Renshaw from Renshaw Travel in Vancouver was recognized with the ‘Virtuoso Rising Star’ award. Both the Most Admired Advisor award and the Virtuoso Rising Star award are voted on by preferred partners.
The awards ceremony took place last night in front of an audience of some 2,800 attendees. The stylish gala was the culmination of the 29th annual Virtuoso Travel Week held in Las Vegas at Bellagio Resort & Casino, ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa.
Virtuoso says its awards “are truly a network endeavor”, as the top agencies, advisors and preferred partners are determined by their network peers. Travel providers vote for agencies and advisors, while travel agency members vote for preferred partners. Engagement in the process is strong; this year Virtuoso tallied almost 2,000 votes.
“Virtuoso Travel Week is all about building authentic human connections that then translate into personal, more enriching experiences for clients, so it’s fitting that we close the week by recognizing those Virtuosos who put the most into their industry relationships,” said Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew D.
