TORONTO — Sunwing is wishing all travel agents a happy new year with a new promotion that includes double STAR points on Cuba bookings.

As the world’s largest provider of vacation packages to Cuba, Sunwing is partnering with the destination throughout the month of January to give agents 2x the STAR points on all new bookings to the island for travel between Feb. 1 and Oct. 31, 2019.

Moreover, each time an agent makes a booking to a participating resort, they’ll be entered into a weekly contest to win an all-inclusive vacation for two to Cuba. The more bookings they make, the more chances of winning.

The promotion runs until Jan. 31, 2019. STAR points convert into cash.

Participating resorts include Melia Jardines del Rey in Cayo Coco, a Sunwing favourite property that’s located on a palm-fringed, white-sand beach, as well as Memories Varadero Beach Resort, ideal for both families and couples. Those seeking an adults-only getaway can opt for the new Angsana Cayo Santa Maria, a chic and romantic resort featuring two pools, a pristine beach area and a Jazz Bar with live music.

Sunwing offers flights to 10 different destinations across Cuba from 25 gateways across Canada.
