TORONTO — Sunwing Vacations is launching its new USA brochure.
Clients can choose between a range of customized packages that will allow them to experience Florida or Las Vegas. Or they could choose a tailor-made itinerary and tour some of America’s most iconic American cities including New York, Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Antonio, New Orleans, Washington DC, Chicago, Phoenix or San Diego. Or head even further afield to discover the beaches, surf and smoldering volcanoes of Hawaii.
In Florida, vacationers can reach three of the region’s most popular holiday hotspots – Orlando, St. Pete/Clearwater and Fort Lauderdale – with direct flights on Sunwing Airlines from 10 different gateways (including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax, Gander, Deer Lake and Moncton). Weekly services from Winnipeg to Fort Lauderdale and Saint John, New Brunswick, to Orlando are both new connections for this season.
Sunwing Vacations packages in the ‘Sunshine State’ are designed for families. Along with classic hotel style accommodation, other options include three- to five-bedroom detached homes with their own private pool and two- or three-bedroom private villas set in larger resort complexes. What’s more, each vacation package (except for Disney) also comes with a mid-size car rental; with bookings of accommodation units of two bedrooms or more automatically upgraded to a seven-seater minivan. In addition to a host of Kids Fly & Stay Free deals offered by the tour operator, there are also savings on key attractions including Boggy Creek Airboat rides, Legoland Florida Resort, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, SeaWorld Parks, Universal Orlando and Walt Disney World.
In Orlando, new resorts offered for this edition include the Caribbean-inspired Loews Sapphire Falls Resort that is slated to open Summer 2016. Conveniently located on-site at Universal Orlando Resorts, guests enjoy early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, complimentary shuttles to Universal Orlando theme parks and preferred tee times at local golf courses along with all the amenities of this tropical-style resort that boasts a lagoon pool and sandy beachfront.
In Fort Lauderdale, a new addition is the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, which benefits from an extensive pool complex, spa and fitness centre, together with sweeping Atlantic ocean views. While The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in Fort Myers and Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples are two new additions that can be easily explored from St. Pete/Clearwater. In Las Vegas, along with a number of current developments in progress – including a new sports venue – the town now lays claim to the world’s tallest observation wheel located in the heart of the Linq Promenade retail and dining complex.
