CALGARY — Resort To The Best is opening a satellite office in Western Canada.
Lillian Day, President, will head up the office in Calgary as of Oct. 13, 2015, commuting between Calgary and Toronto.
Sales Manager, Teressa Taylor, a 13-year veteran of Resort To The Best, and Barb Stern, who joined Resort To The Best two years ago after working for a number of years for American Express Platinum, will maintain the daily sales and marketing operation in Eastern Canada from head office in Toronto.
Lillian Day says, “We made the decision to locate in Calgary to expand growth in the Alberta to British Columbia markets. Travellers in the Western provinces are anxious to discover new resorts and hotels now that more easily accessible air travel connections have opened up from their markets to the Caribbean, Los Cabos and points in Europe. I am looking forward to meeting with travel agents individually in their local markets to provide them with first-hand knowledge regarding the exceptional properties that will be perfect for their clients who are looking for small, intimate, upscale hotels in areas they have perhaps not visited before.
