QUEBEC CITY — Tribute Portfolio, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, has headed north for the first time with the signing of Hotel PUR Quebec. This marks the brand’s Canadian debut and the sixth country it has entered, making it the fastest take-off of any Starwood hotel brand, ever.

Located in the Saint Roch neighbourhood in Quebec City, Hotel PUR Quebec will undergo a full renovation of all 242 guestrooms and suites before joining the Tribute Portfolio system in early 2017. Until then, it will run as a Starwood Hotels & Resorts affiliate hotel.

Tribute Portfolio debuted in April 2015 with its first hotel, the Royal Palm South Beach Miami. Since then, properties have popped up around the world, including Paris, London, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Jakarta and Hokkaido, Japan. The brand will soon open new hotels in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Costa Mesa, CA; Asheville, NC; Nashville, TN; Savannah, GA; and Charleston, SC.
