TORONTO — Saint Lucia’s Minister of Tourism has unveiled a new video message to reassure the destination’s valued Canadian visitors during these uncertain times.
The Hon. Dominic Fedee highlights the extensive safety measures the island has taken to protect its people and visitors in its ongoing efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
As new health and safety policies are being implemented, Fedee is encouraging Canadians to stand by Saint Lucia and the entire Caribbean region during the global pandemic and hopes to welcome Canadians back to the island once travel bans are lifted.
Canada is Saint Lucia’s third largest international market for visitor arrivals. Last year the island welcomed over 40,000 Canadians, the highest visitor arrivals from Canada to date.
