LOS ANGELES — TourRadar’s third annual ‘Adventure Together’ will take on a hybrid format this year, with both online and in-person components taking place in Vienna, Austria.

Scheduled from Oct. 18-19, 2023, ‘Adventure Together’ attracts leaders in the adventure industry from all over the world and features essential conversations about travel and technology, as well as a symposium about AI, sustainability, business growth and talent attraction.

This year’s event sponsors include Globus, Intrepid, The Travel Corporation, Europamundo, Colette, Air Canada, Explore!, Travel Talk, and Wastik India Journeys.

While the focus is on the entire organized adventure industry, there will be tracks exclusively for travel agents and tour operators.

Agents and operators can register now for the virtual event, for free, right up until the day the conference starts, Wed. Oct. 18, 2023.

Another option, the in-person experience in Vienna, includes VIP networking opportunities for US$499.

Sign up for either the free virtual option, or the in-person option, is here.

“Adventure Together is back, attracting leaders from across the organized adventures landscape, including operators, agents, media and guides. We’ve put together a program of talks discussing tropics such as tech, AI, marketing, sustainability and distribution. And, of course, there’s going to be some TourRadar-style celebration too,” said Travis Pittman, CEO and co-founder of TourRadar.

TourRadar’s Adventure Booking Platform launched in November 2021 and offers more than 50,000 multi-day organized adventures around the world, from over 2,500 reputable and niche operators. Prior to this, there was no technology platform or GDS for travel agents to easily discover and book multi-day tours and adventures.

In 2019, TourRadar noticed an increased number of agents using its B2C marketplace to book adventures for their clients. When the pandemic hit in early 2020 and bookings came to a halt, TourRadar began investing heavily in the platform to provide easy, hassle-free access to the bookable inventory of organized adventures.

TourRadar Partner Portal allows travel agents to discover and book private, tailor-made and group tours and adventures. Agents can sign up now to use TourRadar’s booking platform. Whether agents are independent or part of a host agency, they can sign up for free and gain immediate access to search, book and earn commission on any of the 50,000+ multi-day tours and adventures in more than 160 countries. The platform includes product from operators like Trafalgar, Globus, G Adventures and Intrepid, as well as a range of in-destination boutique operators like Timeless Tours, Sicily Activities and Galapagos Travel.
