Punta Cana to welcome new Serenade resort later this year

PUNTA CANA — Serenade Caribbean Hotels is counting down the days until the grand opening of the all-inclusive Serenade Punta Cana Beach, Spa & Casino Resort in the Dominican Republic later this year.

Situated on Playa Cabeza de Toro just 10 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, the brand new vacation retreat will offer a wealth of amenities as part of the all-inclusive experience, including seven restaurants, eight bars, a beachside food truck, a coffee and chocolate shop, room service, standard Wi-Fi Internet access, a fitness centre, kids and teens clubs, non-motorized water sports and the upscale Serenade Preferred Club.

“We have been refining the vacation concepts for Serenade Punta Cana Beach, Spa & Casino Resort so guests experience an amazing all-inclusive getaway featuring value-added amenities,” said Aimee Tejeda, director of sales and marketing, adding: “The Serenade Preferred Club raises our standard all-inclusive to five-star status with extra dining options, exclusive experiences and in-room amenities.”

Here are some highlights of the new resort:



  • A total of 603 rooms will be divided over seven, four-storey buildings all with a terrace and views of the Caribbean Sea, lush gardens or swimming pools
  • Rooms are offered in 12 categories, with the largest options accommodating six guests
  • Room categories include: Luxury Double Queen (326 rooms) sleeping up to four guests; Luxury King (100 rooms) designed for two guests; Ocean View Superior Suites (24 rooms) sleeping up to four guests; Deluxe Junior Suites (72 rooms) ideal for 4-6 guests; Deluxe Junior Suites (12 rooms) accommodating 2-4 guests; Master Suites (36 rooms) accommodating up to four guests: Premium Suites Preferred Club (8 rooms) sleeping up to two guests; Premium Suites Outdoor Jacuzzi (12 rooms) sleeping up to two people; Family Premium Suites (3 rooms) accommodating up to six guests; Serenade Exclusive Suites (7 rooms) sleeping up to two guests; Serenade Exclusive Family Suite (1 room) sleeping up to four people; and Serenade Presidential Suites (2 rooms), accommodating up to four people
  • All accommodations include queen or king bed, furnished terrace, bathroom with shower and single or double vanity, flatscreen TV, coffee and tea maker, complimentary Wi-Fi and more
  • Guests in Ocean View Super Suites, all Premium category suites and Serenade Suites will also enjoy nightly turndown service, special pillow menu, premium vanity kit, bathrobes and slippers
