TORONTO — The Association of Canadian Travel Agencies and Travel Advisors (ACTA) is launching its 2027 membership season on Sept. 1, with a September early-bird offer for independent travel advisors.

From Sept. 1-30, 2026, advisors can join or renew their 2027 ACTA membership for $79 plus applicable taxes. Memberships can be purchased online or in person at upcoming ACTA Summits.

Beginning Oct. 1, the 2027 membership fee will increase to $99 plus applicable taxes for advisors affiliated with an ACTA member host agency and $135 plus applicable taxes for advisors who are not affiliated with an ACTA member host agency.

PRIZE DRAWS FOR MEMBERS

Travel agencies and independent travel advisors who join or renew beginning Sept. 1 will also be automatically entered into a series of member prize draws.

The first draw, taking place Oct. 31, will include two Porter Airlines roundtrip vouchers valid for travel to any Porter destination, as well as a three-night stay for two at Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya in Mexico.

A second draw on Dec. 4 will offer two Air Canada roundtrip Economy Class tickets for system-wide travel.

New members can join through ACTA’s website, while current members can renew through their ACTA Glue Up member profile or contact ACTA for assistance at info@acta.ca.

ACTA will also mark its 50th anniversary in 2027, with plans for enhanced member experiences, special events and recognition initiatives throughout the year.
