TORONTO — Toronto police are investigating reports of people pointing lasers at the cockpits of aircraft landing and taking off from Pearson Airport.

Police searched two parks in northwest Toronto, but failed to nab any suspects.

Anyone caught pointing a laser at an aircraft can be fined up to 100-thousand dollars and sentenced up to five years in jail.
