Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort reopens after US$40 million reno

PUNTA CANA — Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa Resort has reopened following a US$40 million renovation.

The reimagined resort boasts 596 newly designed suites including 58 swim-up suites. Suites range from 516 to 1614 square feet and feature spacious living areas, furnished balconies or terraces with garden or ocean views.

Also new are refreshed adults-only areas, new food and beverage concepts and extensive upgrades to the property’s convention centre.

Nine newly designed restaurant concepts run the gamut from Asian to Mexican to Italian. Two new adults-only restaurants are: Flora, offering artisan flavors, vegan delights, and local sustainable dishes; and Malva, a friendly and casual bazaar-style buffet where guests can sample flavor for local Dominican culture throughout breakfast, lunch, and à la carte dinner.

Paradisus Palma Real has also launched new upgraded luxury services that will debut at each Paradisus location. Nikté at Paradisus by Meliá provides an elevated suite experience through a series of exclusive services and perks including premium room categories, turndown service, a premium minibar, a personal destination concierge, priority dinner reservations, and a water ritual at the resort’s YHI Spa.

Guests staying at any Paradisus by Meliá resort are also welcome to experience the adult-only oasis at The Reserve. The Reserve at Paradisus by Meliá offers guests access to the resort’s adults-only secluded areas, including private beaches, pools, lounges, and a variety of elevated restaurant offerings.

The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real has been completely renovated and offers guests 152 spacious suites, a private restaurant featuring Mediterranean cuisine, concierge and turn-down services and an exclusive private check-in and check-out.Guests of both Nikté and The Reserve will also have the opportunity to experience Paradisus’ new immersive program, Destination Inclusive, designed to connect guests to local communities and its surrounding nature. The experience, included in the daily rate of these categories, will immerse guests into the most remote areas and explore true local connections. Each Paradisus location will offer a unique experience to the destination.

Amenities at Paradisus Palma Real includes access to 11 swimming pools, a YHI spa and fitness centre, nearby Cocotal Golf & Country Club, and the revamped 42,000 square foot convention centre.
