TORONTO — Sunwing Vacations is the latest supplier to reach out directly to travel agents via Travelweek’s newly launched #OneTravelIndustry video series.
With the aim of uniting the travel industry during these challenging times, the series debuted earlier this week in Travelweek Daily, travelweek.ca, Travelweek’s Facebook page and YouTube channel as well as Travelweek’s newly revamped agent Facebook group.
Following videos by Air Canada Vacations’ Nino Montagnese and Jamaica Tourist Board’s Angella Bennet, Dave Wright, Sunwing Vacations’ Director of Sales – Ontario and Atlantic Canada is sending a message to all agents to “stay positive” in order to “rebuild our Canadian travel industry better than ever.”
He also highlights Sunwing’s successful repatriation efforts that brought 60,000 Canadians home, as well how the company is supporting agents and consumers during this time. This include future travel credits and not passing the cost of chargebacks to travel agents.
And for anyone wondering whether they can start making bookings for future travel?
“Absolutely,” he says. “Please start making bookings!”
