More cruise cancellations from Crystal

MIAMI — More cruise cancellations have been announced by Crystal Cruises as global travel restrictions due to COVID-19 continue to impede operations.

The cancellations impact everything from New England & Canada voyages onboard the Crystal Serenity, all the way to November and December cruises aboard the Crystal Endeavor.

Here is an overview:

CRYSTAL SERENITY 2020, NEW ENGLAND & CANADA VOYAGES

Following news of Canada’s extended ban on cruise ships until Oct. 31, Crystal has been forced to cancel its planned 2020 New England & Canada itineraries aboard Crystal Serenity.

Guests booked on affected sailings are being provided with credits equal to 125% of their cruise fare paid, based on fully-paid fare. Credits are valid on any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through Dec. 31, 2023. In addition to credits, Crystal is also providing a refund of port charges, taxes, fees, and air and hotel packages booked through Crystal.

For guests who would like to cruise with Crystal this October through December, Crystal will be introducing a new collection of 7- and 14-night Caribbean escapes aboard Crystal Serenity this week to extend the season earlier in 2020.

CRYSTAL ENDEAVOR VOYAGES, NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2020

Due to the closure of MV WERFTEN shipyard, where the Crystal Endeavor is being built, as well as the temporary closure of cruise ports including those in Australia and New Zealand, the introduction of Crystal Endeavor has been postponed and the remainder of the ship’s 2020 itineraries has been cancelled.

Guests booked on Crystal Endeavor’s November or December 2020 sailings are being provided with credits equal to 125% of their cruise fare paid or deposit paid – valid on any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through Dec. 31, 2023 – along with a refund of port charges, taxes, and fees, and air and hotel packages booked through Crystal.

CRYSTAL SYMPHONY VOYAGES THROUGH AUGUST 2020

Crystal has cancelled all August departures for Crystal Symphony. It is offering guests booked on these affected sailings with Credits* equal to 125% of their cruise fare paid, based on fully-paid fare – valid on any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through Dec. 31, 2023 – along with a refund of port charges, taxes, and fees, and air and hotel packages booked through Crystal.

CRYSTAL RIVER CRUISES THROUGH JULY 2020

All July departures for Crystal River Cruises sailings aboard Crystal Bach, Crystal Debussy, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel have been cancelled.

Impacted guests are being offered credits equal to 125% of their cruise fare paid, based on fully-paid fare – valid on any Crystal experience (Ocean, River, Yacht or Expedition) embarking through Dec. 31, 2023 – along with a refund of port charges, taxes, and fees, and air and hotel packages booked through Crystal.

CRYSTAL YACHT CRUISES FROM JULY-AUG. 2, 2020

Due to temporary closures of European ports, the following Crystal Yacht Cruises sailings have been cancelled:

  • Crystal Esprit | July 5, 2020 | 7 nights | Venice to Dubrovnik
  • Crystal Esprit | July 12, 2020 | 7 nights | Dubrovnik to Venice
  • Crystal Esprit | July 19, 2020 | 7 nights | Venice to Dubrovnik
  • Crystal Esprit | August 2, 2020 | 7 nights | Athens Roundtrip
