Air Canada Foundation Golf Tournament raises more than $765,000 for charities

Mexico Golf Classic scheduled for Aug. 23 in Richmond, B.C.

VANCOUVER — The Mexico Golf Classic is back and set to take place at the Mayfair Lakes Golf Course in Richmond, B.C. on Aug. 23.

The event will be a shotgun start and will be co-sponsored by Puebla Tourism and the Quintana Roo Tourism Board.

A food and Mezcal tasting will be provided by the State of Puebla, who are bringing handmade artisanal Mezcal accompanied by a local chef so golfers can experience a taste of what this cultural destination has to offer.

To make it even more fun for all levels of golfers, the format is a ‘Texas Scramble’, in which all golfers in a foursome play the ‘best ball’. Non-golfers have the opportunity to join us for the cocktail reception and dinner.

Prizes will include trips to Mexico with airfare and accommodation. All golfers will also have a chance to win a 2018 Lexus NX300 with the hole in one contest.
