Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana officially opens

CAP CANA — Karisma Hotels & Resorts has officially opened the brand new Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Having opened its doors back in November 2021, the five-star resort held its official opening ceremony on Jan. 12 with top company executives and country officials in attendance. The ceremony opened with a speech by Luis Abinader, President of the Dominican Republic, followed by the ribbon-cutting, live entertainment, signature cocktails and dining experiences.

Margaritvaille Island Reserve Cap Cana opened on Juanillo Beach last November as the first purpose-built location under the Margaritaville Island Reserve brand. The brand combines Karisma Hotels & Resorts’ all-inclusive amenities with Margaritaville’s signature fun and escapism.

Margaritaville Island Reserve Cap Cana officially opens

The resort boasts 228 suites and 40 ultra-luxe villas plus an expansive Entertainment Village that serves as the property’s main hub featuring live daily performances, 10 food & beverage venues, the St. Somewhere Spa and more.

The resort first broke ground in October 2019.
