Los Cabos launches brand new ‘Wellness Champions’ campaign

TORONTO — Los Cabos made a memorable return to the Canadian market recently, with a spa event for Canadian media that underlined the destination’s commitment to the wellness and luxury markets.

The Los Cabos Tourism Board’s Managing Director, Rodrigo Esponda, hosted the ‘Finding Wellness in Los Cabos’ event at Toronto’s Sweat and Tonic, to highlight the destination’s 2023 ‘Wellness Champions’ campaign.

The all-day event included yoga, meditation and massage, as well as lunch and a presentation by Esponda.

“2023 will see Los Cabos embrace wellness in a way that no other destination has, leveraging our traditions, our natural beauty, and all-new, tailor-made experiences to empower our visitors to realize personal fulfilment,” said Esponda. “Community, authenticity, freedom, exploration, and balance – these are pillars of the Los Cabos experience and core to our approach to wellness in our upcoming campaign.”

Los Cabos’ Wellness Champions campaign is a response to growing global consciousness about the importance of self-care and mental health, said Esponda. Speaking to the eco-conscious but adventurous traveller and serving the guiding principle that there is no one definition of wellness, he said Los Cabos strives to accommodate every interpretation of wellness.

Much of Los Cabos’ promotional focus this year will go beyond the beaches, deserts, and properties that many guests of the Baja Sur Peninsula are already familiar with, and instead spotlight farm-to-table culinary experiences, cultural rituals, and the endless opportunity for self-guided physical adventure. They’re all part of the Wellness Champions campaign.

“Our experiential offering in 2023 is a perfect marriage of wellness, sustainability, and adventure. We think we’ve refined the quintessential Los Cabos experience, into something that both disconnects travellers from stress and reconnects them with the beauty in this world.
