SEOUL — Korea is easing its COVID-19 restrictions for inbound travellers.
According to the Korea Tourism Organization, starting Sept. 3, 2022 all inbound travellers are exempted from presenting a negative pre-departure COVID test result to enter Korea.
However, travellers still need to take a PCR test within 24 hours of their arrival in Korea.
Quarantine was lifted for all travellers regardless of vaccination status, in a move that took effect June 8, 2022.

PRE-DEPARTURE
K-ETA: Canadian passport holders are required to complete the K-ETA at least 72 hours before entering Korea. Travellers can apply for the K-ETA here.
UPON ARRIVAL
PCR Test: Travellers are required to take a PCR test within 24 hours of arrival. Travellers are allowed to carry on regular activities before and after taking the arrival PCR test. If the on-arrival test result is positive, a 7-day quarantine will be required.
